Today, many people have at least one credit card. There are many advantages to having a credit card and using it wisely. The biggest benefit with a credit card is its convenience. From purchasing airline tickets and shopping online for filling up the grocery cart and topping off the gas tank, we can use credit cards as a convenient, quick way to pay. Other advantage of credit card is as long as you pay off your balance each month, you receive free financing until the due date on your credit card statement. Use of credit also has disadvantages. For instance, if you do not pay your credit card balances in full each month, prohibitive interest expenses can be incurred.

All credit cards aren’t alike. When you’re in the market for a credit card, apply for credit cards that have the lowest interest rates and fees associated with them. For people with bad credit history, it may be more difficult to get credit card that they want.
